I just came back from my short trip to Antwerp.
I attended the show at Crisis 2011 with my little Testudo bench. Indeed the name of the show can resume the real progress of my profits up there: a full crisis.
What I earned from selling miniatures it was more or less (maybe a bit more, but no so far enough) the same of what I spent to be there. Not a good business but I could have few contacts for next projects, for myself as sculptor and for Testudo as miniature models brand.
I guess in this period of deep economical sadness, we should enjoy much more the little things of life and to improve through the construction of a better future rather to expect that life might be wonderful right now, right tomorrow.
What we shouldnt never leave is the hope. The hope and the passion. The hope, the passion and the woman.
Women are the materiality on which to build up the passion. Men are the passion on which to build up the spirit. Spirit is the mean to build up a miniature.
A long spread circular chain who makes us prisoner of the art.
Life depends from art. Without art, there is no life. Without life, there is not the artist. Without the artist, there is no art.
Let's enjoy.
